“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.” ― Dr. Seuss, I Can Read With My Eyes Shut!

I am currently the Director of the Greenwood Public Library and have always loved books and learning. I enjoyed it so much that when I would get in trouble as a child, my parents would ground me from reading. My passions include reading books, drinking tea, crocheting, and walking my dog through the woods.

As a teenager my first official job was working as a page in a small rural library and now I’m still working surrounded by books - I just wish I had more time to read them all! I’m drawn to reading that offers me a window into another world. My go-to reading choices are – Fantasy, Juvenile fiction, dystopian stories, retold fairy-tales (like Once Upon a Time), picture books, and mysteries. I also occasionally enjoy some nonfiction reading such as bios and books that relate to specific interests.
